How do I find you?
The easiest way to find us is to look up Moinho da Fadagosa on Google Maps and use the map on there. If you have any difficulties, you can call us on 00351 924 093 092, or 0044 7905 261 415.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
You can check-in from 3pm, and check-out is up until 11am. We would appreciate it if you can let us know in advance what time you are likely to arrive.

Where is the best place to buy supplies?
If you want to buy some groceries before you arrive you can go to the Intermarche in Mação - it is open from 9am to 8pm every day.

Is there space to park my car?
You'll see space to park up the hill next to our car.

What do I need to bring to Moinho da Fadagosa?
We don't think you need anything more than yourself if you're just looking for some relaxing time - but we'd also recommend some good walking shoes and a good book. Oh - and slippers! The floors are mostly stone and wood, so can be cold, even in the summer. The windmill is stocked with a few essentials like tea, coffee, milk, fruit, cooking oil, and in the bathroom shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.

Do you have information on nearby restaurants, activities etc?
We have some information here on our website, and we have more detailed recommendations in our welcome pack which you'll find on check-in. If you would like to stop for lunch on the way to us, let us know and we'd be happy to make recommendations and bookings for you.

Anything else I need to know?
We have some animals here! There are two cats and a quiet, well-behaved border collie on the property, as well as some goats and chickens a little further away down the hill. Oh, and a few geckos help us keep the inside of the mill clean of any flies or bugs and may pop up from time to time!
